Power BI is our main visualisation tool. We have a requirement to export PBI Visualisations as SVGs. The workaround we have in place (export as PDF, detailing in photoshop, render as SVG) is insufficient, and we need a native SVG from the Power BI environment.

RE: Export Power BI Visualisations as SVGs

We export specific visuals (not entire PBI pages) to PowerPoint, and the most professional-looking way to do it now is by taking screenshots. The built-in "copy as image with caption" functionality generates much worse quality raster images than a regular screenshot would. It makes PPT slides look like garbage, which you can't present in a work environment. But even screenshots can be faulty because the margins of copied visuals are always different due to the manual nature of taking screenshots. There are workarounds to do this properly by exporting to PDF and then using an SVG editor like Inkscape to crop out the required visuals and save them as SVG... But, when working on dozens of slides per deck, that's just untenable. We need the ability to copy visuals as vector images (or, worst case scenario, as high-quality raster images).

I have a similar requirement. We need to be able to resize the image returned from the ExportToFile api without losing quality. An SVG would be hugely beneficial to us.
