Remove Shift + Enter for DAX Editor. Please change it to normal enter and Shift + Enter to run. Isn't this more intuitive.

The current editor is dumb, please at least change the editor go next line on Enter key and Shift Enter to execute. That a standard for various programming languages.

This is soooo frustrating. I know full well that you have to press SHIFT-ENTER to get a line feed in the DAX formula bar BUT when you are deep in coding mode your reflexes take over and when your brain thinks 'new line please' your fingers automatically hit Enter.
So then PowerBI starts chugging through the calculation. You CANNOT stop it (another annoyance). It can take minutes each time if you are working on large data sets. You know it is not going to work, because the code isn't finished, but you have to sit and wait for PBI to tell you that.
Either change it to Enter and just make it that you have to click the tick to run the code (fine by me) OR give a 'Do you want to run this code' kind of warning.
Again, the fact that you have chosen Shift Enter for the formula bar, and Enter to run the code has no basis in common sense or logic. It DOES NOT improve useability.
PLEASE, PLEASE change this, or allow us to change it.

Also: Escape should  not close the editor if there are unsaved edits!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, what it really needs is a separate detachable edit window that can be resized and moved around to wherever makes sense. The formula-bar is find for Excel formulas, but Power BI has actual scripts, and as such it needs a suitable script editor window.

ALSO, if you click away from the formula bar while writing DAX, PLEASE ASK if you want to run the code, don't just run it.
Actually, the DAX code should really ONLY ever be run when the tick is clicked. NO OTHER TIME. Surely that is the most logical way. Saves premature running of code. It also highly satisfying to click that tick button when you finish complex code.

Current behavior is a huge productivity hit. I you hit enter instead of shift-enter for a new line while editing query it can take a long time for PowerBI to propagate through complex models and return control to editor.
