It is possible today to sort a column in a table or matrix. However it should be possible to sort multiple columns in different levels like you can in Excel or SSRS. I want to sort a column name1 and after that on another columname2 etc .

Absolutely! This is a very basic function of tabular reporting and a MUST have.

RE: sort data in tables on multiple level

It would be useful to have a sorting based on multiple levels for matrix. Assume I have weekdays in first column, location in second column and sales in values. I'd like to sort by weekday first and then by sales amount. At the moment it's possible to sort only by weekday or only by sales amount, but not by both

RE: sort data in tables on multiple level

Yes, this would be great.

Example: I have 5 sales people in my top 5.
Two of people have a sales qty of 88 (the rest below 88). One of these best performing sales people, one have a gross margin 88 %, where as the other has 28 %.
However, then I sort by Sales Qty the person with gross margin of 28 % is put on the first row - because this name startes D, where as the other starts with J.

I would like to press sort on gross Margin-column. There after press sort by sales qty. Thereby the J-person with 88 % will be in top.
