    Allow writeback to the database from Power Query

    Power Query is fantastic for dealing with troublesome data like flat files, excel files, and web pages (way easier than SSIS), but once I've done the cleanup or mashup, I really want to be able to write it back to the database. Exporting it as a flat file still leaves me with having to write an SSIS package or use the frustrating import/export wizard to get the data into SQL Server. I do a lot of prototyping and this would be of huge value.

    I agree this is a great feature. This is why we built it into Power Update. http://poweronbi.com/2017/06/power-update-from-power-bi-desktop-to-sql-server/
