Great suggestion, thanks! Who else is looking to analyze Exchange information? If you think it'd be valuable, please add your votes!

RE: Office 365 Exchange Data

You can also access Microsoft 365 usage reports available via Microsoft Graph which covers mailbox, OneDrive size etc (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/report?view=graph-rest-1.0) using the last part of the guide here:

https://minkus.medium.com/easily-connecting-between-power-query-power-bi-and-microsoft-graph-72333eb95a35

Official support would be better tho.

RE: Office 365 Exchange Data

A lot of Exchange Admin Center data can be imported via the new REST API by just adding the following to Power Query / Power BI as an OData Feed:

https://outlook.office.com/adminApi/beta/[Azure Active Directory Tenant ID]/

(Where [Azure Active Directory Tenant ID] is in XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX format and found via https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/active-directory-how-to-find-tenant)

The fact this is marked as 'beta' ought to be a warning about relying on this - but it does work

RE: Office 365 Exchange Data

Hi, This would be a great feature. It takes a lot of time to generate these reports manually in a way that we can present to management.

RE: Office 365 Exchange Data

We really need this feature. Most of our customers are requesting the reports to find what how external emails have been received a user and how many has been sent out and as an admin it would great to view all the mailboxes. Its of no use to analyse or manipulate once own mailbox.

Can this feature be implemented please?

RE: Office 365 Exchange Data

Actually, just make all the reports found in the admin centre for o365 available to Power BI REPORT SERVER and desktop app please. I cannot afford your PowerBI service as a non profit small company, so we host our own server under SA license, but we need access to the stats in o365 to be able to demonstrate and prove our o365 uptake and security.

RE: Office 365 Exchange Data

Hello product team!

I would really need to connect on-premis Exchange to PowerBi Service, so please add this functionality to the Gateway. Please :)

RE: Office 365 Exchange Data

Yes, please! Have a client asking for this info right now, this would be really helpful, particularly mailbox size on a per mailbox basis. some of this info can be found already in the PowerBI Office 365 Usage Analytics Report....
