Currently the preview of Datamart's can be enabled or disabled for everyone only.

I'd like to be able to enable it only for select users or security groups (basically admins only) to work out how suitable it is for our business before making it more widely available (or not).

I completely agree with the above comments, This is a no brainer, any big changes in functionality to a service should have this option by default to allow admins to evaluate a feature before deciding if it's suitable to be rolled out. Not just enabled to the masses or nothing at all. We have turned it off until this feature is implemented so we can properly review.

Really important features.

eseential otherwise you can't get the feedback at an enterprise level

In Tenant Settings add possibility to choose 'allow a subset of the organization' to build Datamarts with security groups. This is an available feature for tenant settings for workspaces and should be available almost in all circumstances within tenant settings.

Not everyone in the organization is trained on best practices and for companies that have a group dedicated to Data and Analytics should be able to restrict access to avoid overlap of duplicated data. This allows continuity and structure within a business as well.

Super useful!!!

Thank you!

Huge excitement turned rapidly to dismay when we realised we couldn't adequately control any rollout, with a heavy heart we have disabled until this capability is available.

D

And the same for dataflows where this security option seems to be removed..

Another vote for "this is a no brainer". Last thing we need is random people creating datamarts before we've vetted and before MS has worked out the kinks.

D

Absolute no brainer. Data governor chaos without
