Intention: The primary intention is also to see how we can pass on the changes to child datasets created out of one primary dataset. This would make maintenance easier and one does not need to create datasets from scratch and assign to specific user groups.

Use Case:
For certain users, only certain dimensions of star schema must be available. The general knowledge is that we have to create 2 independent datasets and assign it to user groups. In this case, the maintenance becomes difficult as we have to update both the datasets for a change. If the dataset can be a subset of the parent dataset, we only have to make changes to the parent dataset and all child datasets would inherit that.
If the above scenario is not possible, can we share only a subset of a dataset to specific users. Like the fact and particular set of dimensions to a set of users and the fact and rest of the dimensions to another set of user.

RE: Requirement to create child datasets from a master dataset already present in Service.

It would be easier to maintain the data sets and avoid the multiple dataset refresh.
