Paginated reports and email scheduling of these reports in csv, excel or pdf format to business users or partners is bread and butter ie basic requirement for most businesses. SMEs can’t afford premium’s costs. Many are now looking to migrate from SSRS to more advanced platforms that also provide advanced analytics. Power Bi Pro should be as feature rich as Premium and allow companies to scale as they grow. Best option I have found is IBM Cognos you can start from less than $100 and get advanced analytics, a.i., paginated reports, email scheduling, exports in multiple formats. Shame Microsoft unable or unwilling to match the competition as the more time and money we spend building out on Cognos the less likely we will ever move.

Microsoft has a complete lack of empathy of what their customers are looking for. Why is this taking so long?

I need a reporting tool for a web application that will only cost $75-$100/month of azure spend, but to get reporting they want $5,000. I only have 20 or so users. The pro licenses would be $200/month

It would be so much appreciated if Paginated reports can use Pro license in the Power BI service. Not all organisations use a P capacity.

Until we get this, our small business has to stick with SSRS because we need to be able to attach our reports as PDF, Excel, etc. on our subscriptions. Please make this available for pro. It's quite annoying that Pro is listed as a requirement on this page when it doesn't actually apply.

This seems such obvious functionality. Like many other consultants I get asked; why can't I print my reports. The answer being that Microsoft has the technology but chooses to exclude the SME market place. Surely a growth market area for Power BI and a destruction of the 'it can't do that' answer.

we need to have access to this as Pro Users. it is a shame to exclude the majority of your clients from major functionalities like this one.

This is a fundmental requirement for smaller ISVs who will have no choice but to go to other vendors for BI and reporting solutions. It makes no commercial sense to limit this to premium subscribers.

'Keeping Paginated Reports available to only Premium and Azure Embedded Power BI is going to hurt Microsoft in long run.
PBI Product Manager should have used statistics that how many businesses out there have more than 500 users?
There should be some way to use Paginated Reports in Power BI Pro Licenses.
@Microsoft, wake up before you end up pushing your customers (who are smaller companies) to competition.
