In order te make it easier to build reports on a larger SSAS cube it would be handy when you could select a perspective and see only the tables and fields in that perspective. Currently you either have all tables and fields or you need to make different connections and by that different reports...

Hi,Perspective allow to define a dimensionnal matrix logical layer in SSAS Olap ans Tabular for years.Tabular Editor allow to add Perspectives on a Power BI Semantic Model.Please add a Perspective filter in the Data Panel in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.Regards,DenisPS This idea seem to be a duplicate of others ideas.

Yes , we need this feature in Power BI online . Otherwise we need to create altogether different data set for different users .
