RE: matrix: Hide column and sort by each column

This seems very common sense. I want to group data in a matrix and then sort by a ranking within those groups. Why is this not possible?

RE: matrix: Hide column and sort by each column

In showing GL info in Matrix, need to group by Department and Account. But need to order Accounts by hidden sort as they shouldn't be sorted by Acct # nor Acct Name - need a hidden sort order as secondary to Department. Don't want to show or have totals by that hidden sort order.

I agree. Need the ability to have the column in the Matrix for sort purposes but need the ability to hide it from display.
