The Personalization feature is a great Self-Service BI feature, however, there are times when the end users should not be given every thing at once. Example - I may not want the end user to be able to change the measure as the gist of that particular visual is that measure. At the same time, I may want the end user to be able to play with the dimension columns and explore the value, introduce hierarchies, change the order in the hierarchy.

We are looking forward to the same feature that Paul Drescher mentioned i.e. lockdown visual type.

Great Idea. I want to add here the ability for the report creator to lock the visual type. For example I may want my users to change rows, columns and values in a matrix and personalize their view of the data in this way, but I may not want them to be able to change the visual to something other than a matrix.
