Time slicer should include lower grains than day:
hours, minute, seconds.
So one can scroll through the data collected during a day

A relative time slicer now exists - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/slicer-filter-relative-time

RE: Time Slicer at time-level

This needs to be in the next update. Hard to believe it isn't in there already.

RE: Time Slicer at time-level

The ability to filter a time-based axis effectively provides a zoom and pan capability to dynamic displays. Currently linking a 'time' data type to a slicer will only provide a date-based granularity in the slicer making it not applicable to analysis regimes whose granularity is less than a day. The only work-around is to apply filters to the time-based axis, but this approach is clumsy and persistent having to remember the date 30/12/1899.

Please add this idea!!! This is needed for granularity!

RE: Time Slicer at time-level

Not just to focus on a time-band within a day either. We need to be able to focus on a time-band across multiple dates and thus be able to select time independantly of date.
I work with systems that generate millions of rows of data per day. I need to be able to focus on short time-bands across multiple dates in order to isolate and identify trends.

A must feature as most of data these days is available on a minute level and not being able to filter it swiftly is not okay

RE: Time Slicer at time-level

This should have been included with the slicer from the start! Please consider implementing this in your next update!

I'm currently working with publicly available police data and attempting to filter through reported incidents by when they occurred throughout the day. However, the slicer converts times to dates. I can't believe the requested feature above has not been implemented yet.

RE: Time Slicer at time-level

Need to be able to see trends within hours in a day, regardless of the date.
ie When are peaks times for checkouts, sales, phone-calls etc.?
Day/Month/Year/Quarter have no bearing on this, so require an hour slicer.
