Would it be possible to do data transformation on the fly for "DirectQuery" to be applicable to all the new data when refreshed as opposed to just one time transformation in "Import" ?

You can apply Query Transformations even when in DirectQuery mode, simply go to the Query Editor and apply the transforms that you want to each of the tables. There will be limitations in terms of the supported transformations, depending on the data source backend capabilities and the complexity of the query overall (i.e. combination of multiple transforms). Cant make it work with PostgreSQL + DirectQuery. Is there any other way?
