Currently, if multiple visuals use the same column that has been used on a page's drillthrough filter, each visual will have Drillthrough functionality enabled. We would like an option on the visual's format menu to turn off the Drillthrough context.

I would like an option to enable drillthrough only through buttons. So disable it on all visuals but buttons, those can be linked to the drillthrough page you want.

This functionality is required. Creating additional columns in the data model is not a good practice to work around this problem.

I agree and would take it a step further. I'm using the same field on two drill through pages. On each report page where that field is used I would want to set an option to go to a specific drill through page and not the other as it's not applicable to that report/visual they are on.

Very much agree with this idea. My report users are led to believe they can drillthrough on the field contained other visuals when that is not the case. There is no easy way to communicate, "The drilltrhough really only applies here... even though you see it there". I saw a post for a workaround. Making a copy the field and using that in place of the same field but that is not ideal in my opinion.
