I really like the new Fuzzy Merge preview feature. However, I wish there was an option to add the distance measure (% of match) as a new column in the resulting table. This is a must if we want to assess match quality.

The Fuzzy Lookup Excel Add-in has an option to show the similarity percentage in a separate column in the match results.That column is indeed extremely useful because it allows you to sort / filter by the match percentage and assess the results of the last run.I have already raised this as a request on the Microsoft feedback portal here:Return similarity percentage in Power Query Fuzzy Matching merge results.Unfortunately, there seems to be no one else rooting for it there... :-\I hope we get some response from Microsoft on this forum.~KV
