If you have two charts with a common dimension (on the y axis for example) it would be helpful to be able to synchronise the two axis (instead of sizing automatically based on the data range in each visual).

Current functionality would let us either fix the axis to a specific range, which is only good if those ranges will never change and there is no filtering ability. Otherwise you have to let the axis resize dynamically which leads to the axis falling out of sync, if the data ranges are different.

Given that we can now set certain formatting options using a formula, it seems to me the easiest way to achieve this would be to add the same functionality for setting axis, then you could use a min/max value to define the start and end point of the axis. Then if you had a slicer for the common dimension the charts can simply display the max and min values as defined by the slicer.

RE: Synchronise Axis across charts

I really agree with this, and over the last year I keep checking to see if this has been implemented or if a decent workaround has been found.I often want to be able to compare two identical charts, but with different filters applied. In one particular example, I have two charts visualising the same information, but you can filter the charts independently on 5 columns. As the charts are filtered, the y-axis should be synced so the charts can truly be compared.
