containers allow you to essentially group dashboard objects (sheets, text, images, filters, etc.) together. This means the container itself can be moved anywhere on the dashboard and the dashboard objects within will stay the same size and in the same position relative to each other

RE: Create containers for visuals
This would be especially helpful to allow multiple visualizations to have the same filter applied, including visualizations like text boxes where you can't currently apply a visualization-level filter. Personally this would save me a lot of time building multiple measures for dynamic commentary on reports.
