When a selection is made on a slicer, that selected value will be moved to the top of the slicer. That way if you make multiple selections you can see all of them easily without having to scroll through the entire slicer.

This is basic functionality the end user expects. Available on most BI tools currently.

When you have a long list of values in slicer you scroll down and select something. Need the selected values to be shown in the top. else they get hidden. As we dont have any objects to see the current selection in the report at the moment.

Based on Selections in slicers, items within slicers should automatically move at the top of the list. If the list within the slicers is too large, it is very difficult to keep scrolling up and down the list to select and deselect. On selecting a value in the slicers, the value should be moved at the top so it is easy to select and deselect the items within the slicers.

This is a necessity. We have large data sets and I cannot believe the selected values do not bubble to the top of the list. Qlikview does this so well. The selections are highlighted in green, and go to the top of the list. The white values are not selected and gray means they are not in the current view of the data. It is super user-friendly.

Instead of creating a new visualization altogether, perhaps this could be one of the formatting options on the current one?

Having to select each individual box to group certain items is super tedious when there are over 30 fields to choose from and all you want to do is remove one...

RE: Slicer Selection to Top of Slicer

It´s impossible for end users to see if something is selected within long list slicers which can lead to wrong conclusions. It´s crucial to habe the selections on top or at least visualize that something is selected in this list slicer.

Paired with the fact that it´s not possible to "clear all slicer selections" at once at the moment, this is a huge killer for trust in applications.
