Make it possible to embed Power BI dashboards/reports/items on Office365/SharePoint online pages, for example as a web part.

Today I’m very excited to announce the availability of the Power BI report web part for SharePoint Online! We’ve heard from you all that SharePoint Online is a critical part of how you disseminate and communicate data and that to-date it wasn’t easy to include Power BI content there. The feature we’re announcing today changes all that. We’ve been busy at work with the SharePoint team building an out-of-the-box web part for SharePoint Online using their new Modern Pages infrastructure. The new web part we are releasing today enables SharePoint authors to embed Power BI reports directly in SharePoint Online pages with no code required! The feature is available today for Office 365 First Release customers. Read all about the new web part on the Power BI Blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/integrate-power-bi-reports-in-sharepoint-online/ We really appreciate your ideas so do let us know what else you'd like us to add to the web part. -Lukasz

This would be awesome to have ASAP.
When explaining to the business the security aspects and limitations of preventing data leakage and limiting use of the Publish to Web feature, I am at a loss to explain why the suggested feature is a PowerBI tenancy option and not an O365 option.

When is this to be released... I want this now. We are struggeling today with embedded Excel sheets but want to use Power BI instead.

What is the status of development? Could we see this sometime soon? (e.g. a month or so?)

The cost model is different for the Embedded reports. It's pay per view, $0.10 per report rendered.
Matter of fact the sooner this feature is released the sooner MS can make money off of it.

Looking forward to its release.

Cynical side of me says it won't get done as this is a ploy to sell more Pro licenses.

Since it's almost 2 years "started", would it please be possible that you give at least a coarse estimation, when something will be ready for testing?

Power BI can become more usable with this feature. Please let us know when this can happen?

Hello, I think everybody will aprreciate if you can give an idea about the status, I'm working hard to promote PBI and this feature can greatly simplify the access managment.
I hope to hear from you soon,
Best,
Renato
