Make it possible to embed Power BI dashboards/reports/items on Office365/SharePoint online pages, for example as a web part.

Today I’m very excited to announce the availability of the Power BI report web part for SharePoint Online! We’ve heard from you all that SharePoint Online is a critical part of how you disseminate and communicate data and that to-date it wasn’t easy to include Power BI content there. The feature we’re announcing today changes all that. We’ve been busy at work with the SharePoint team building an out-of-the-box web part for SharePoint Online using their new Modern Pages infrastructure. The new web part we are releasing today enables SharePoint authors to embed Power BI reports directly in SharePoint Online pages with no code required! The feature is available today for Office 365 First Release customers. Read all about the new web part on the Power BI Blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/integrate-power-bi-reports-in-sharepoint-online/ We really appreciate your ideas so do let us know what else you'd like us to add to the web part. -Lukasz

Our team will be there at ignite and asking. I hope the web part not only allows us to embed secure dashboards, but also individual reports. Hopefully it lets us pass url query string parameters to reports. And on the subject of SPO and Power Bi, since Custom lists are basically hosted in SQL Azure somewhere, any chance we can get a live direct connection to SharePoint Online Custom Lists from Power Bi? https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/15883971-live-data-connections-to-o365-sharepoint-online-li

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

Hi, I've been asking for an eta on this since the beginning of may, could someone please give us all some feedback?
We are currently using another product but it is tedious and not what we are looking for.

Like o365SPO said "A SharePoint Web part for Power Bi would be great with connectors for Query string parameters and filters" This is one the requirements I am also looking forward.

The DevScope app is a good idea but it fails to deliver consistency and its riddled with bugs. This app does not work for our company. We would really appreciate an ETA on this feature from Microsoft so we can manage expectations with out executive management.

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

bump any eta on this? Currently my organisation is either going to go tableau or Power BI and at the moment we are going to go tableau unless Power BI reports can be rendered in Office 365.

This would be a massive benefit or our organisation; it would be really useful to have to some idea of progress and timescales.

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

This would probably seal the deal for us to use Power BI for our SharePoint reporting needs! Would it allow connecting to all data sources?
