It should be good if we can set Drill Mode ON/OFF by DEFAULT instead of clicking manually on the arrow every time on report.

We have improved this by allowing the drill action to take place inside the tooltip. Marking as completed. We will do more updates here but the initial item has been addressed.

it is quite absurd even after all these months, after all those improvements, this option is still unavailable. :(
MS really need to implement this.

I cannot believe this still hasn't been implemented yet.
Also this prevents the apps (the Android version at least) from seeing any drill down data, because it has no option to enable it. That's even worse.

Drill mode should be "ON" by default. it is really frustrating reminding every PM to read job-aid which explains to keep the drill mode "ON" to view Project/Resource/Tasks level data.

We need this feature, it is difficult to explain to our users that they have to click this each time.

This feature is a must! It should be a standard thing to have the drill-through and drill-through alone show up on click.
Incredibly annoying and embarrassing that I have to add a sentence in a textbox explaining how to use the feature in executive reports.

Yes, this feature is a must. It is not possible to explain each and every client that first the drill-down toggle button needs to be set to ON and then the dashboard works as expected.

a must, rather than having an enable/disable selection it should simply drill down if double clicked. If hierarchical levels have been enlisted I think it goes without saying the user would like to drill through the levels.

yes thats something I have been trying to do for a while.
We are distributing a report and cant ask someone to enable drill down everytime they want to view the report.
