Thanks for your feedback on this issue – while we’d like to enable this, there is currently no timetable around doing so. There is the option as a workaround the create a paginated view as a drillthrough of the visual and have a formatted version you can export to Excel, but understand this isn’t a solution everyone can take advantage of currently.Anonymous commented
This is so useful functionality and its surprising that powerbi does not support this, not having this feature is causing financial powerBI rollout extremely difficult for the users.
Another update on this item – users now have the ability to set up scheduled subscriptions with paginated reports and 6 different formats, along with parameters per subscription to allow further personalization. There is also now the ability to create paginated reports against any Power BI dataset in the service, and we’re planning to add drillthrough from Power BI to Paginated Reports in the short term.
We still have plans to support e-mail attachments for Power BI reports as well in the coming months, and we’ll share more specifics once we get closer to starting that work.Anonymous commented
Hi Chris, Any update by when ability to print/export the entire table of data to PDF or other format will be available?Ability to export to PDF with custom visuals and take print is needed and not having is a shortcoming as a functionality. Hoping the next releases would address this issue.
