Thanks for the feedback and your vocal support about it! This is under discussion, so please keep voting this up and providing the feedback/examples of why this is so important to you and your organization.
the last comment from MS says, " ....providing the feedback/examples of why this is so important to you and your organization."
The reason is NO BRAINER. Every single person who has commented and voted has said PREMIUM is just Tooooooooooooooooo expensive for small/medium companies. (FULL STOP)
Haven't you still got the message? Any updates?
3776 Votes - What are we still waiting for?
More than 3K votes, Still UNDER REVIEW???? No updates for more than 2 months??? Come on!
With nearly 2500 votes is this still under review? When can we expect it to move upstream?
We are a non-profit who need Paginated Reports for some day-to-day purposes but mostly for our events held few times a year. These are very simple reports. Having to pay SO MUCH for premium is unthinkable - like the pie in the sky! PLEASE make this available in PRO soon. It will make our life so easy, help those whom we serve as a non-profit and will strengthen our ties with MS. Thanks in advance.
With so many votes for this VERY IMPORTANT feature why haven't it even moved to UNDER REVIEW?????
MS, give us some updates on this request. Why can't we have Paginated reports with PRO? For small non-profits like us, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get expensive Premium.
Please allow Paginated reports in Pro. Premium is way too expensive!
Thanks for the feedback! While this isn’t (yet!) on our near term roadmap, please keep voting and giving us feedback on the idea. We definitely see the need and will update the idea when we are closer to adding this feature.
Thanks for all the feedback on this! We are definitely planning on adding Incremental refresh to Pro. Do know though that it is a fair amount of work, so it may be a bit before we can give you a more firm timeline.
In the meantime, keep voting so you’re notified when we do have more information to share!
This is in our backlog. Stay tuned for more updates!
This is on our roadmap but we don’t have a specific timeline to share at this point. We’ll update this when we have more details!
Sort out the Sorting soon! nearly 4 years since this idea was posted!
Another update on this item – users now have the ability to set up scheduled subscriptions with paginated reports and 6 different formats, along with parameters per subscription to allow further personalization. There is also now the ability to create paginated reports against any Power BI dataset in the service, and we’re planning to add drillthrough from Power BI to Paginated Reports in the short term.
We still have plans to support e-mail attachments for Power BI reports as well in the coming months, and we’ll share more specifics once we get closer to starting that work.
Chris you had said, "we'll be announcing shortly the ability to publish paginated reports using Power BI datasets". Could you please clarify HOW SHORT this is going to be as we need to do a lot of planning going forward based on this feature.
Any updates on exporting everything and not just a screenshot? We've been waiting too long for an answer.
You have kept us guessing for so long. Please tell us if we will ever get a proper print - i.e to be able to print all data that is part of the report rather than just a SCREENSHOT. If you don't plan to do that, please make it clear, so that we can find alternative solutions and not waste our time and resources. Thanks.
This is UTTER USELESS. This does exactly what print did. We could have gone to print and just used save as pdf. We were expecting to be able to print EVERTHING that is part of the report NOT JUST what is see on the screen. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED.
Give some UPDATE on the STAUS please. So many of our projects depend heavily on this feature. When are we going to see some light on this????
Please give some timescale as to when we can see this in action.
This has been reported again and again in so many ideas. BUT MS is just adamant not to do it. I wonder why!
MS wants people to use the more costly Premium Capacity option to generate paginated reports. It's all about money and not about the users. They don't want to listen to the needs of simple users who want a BASIC print facility (or save as pdf) of an entire report.
