Agree with Rankovski - match focus mode with standard page background.
Even if it is not possible to export the configuration for all visuals as a single theme, at least create the ability to export JSON from single visuals which could be collated into your preferred default Theme. Working 'backwards' from existing JSON syntax is easier and it makes working on smaller portions easier, as well.
Using the .zip hack works, but, exporting the configurations from individual visuals in JSON would be a better solution and would allow for mixing and matching from different theme 'parts'.
This month we added the ability to format text fields based off a numeric field: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-2018-feature-summary/#conditionalFormatting
We also are planning on adding a feature that will let you format your text based on comparisons. I’ll update this idea based on our progress on that feature.
By date comparisons, as well. Example - if 14 days past 'today', highlight as red. This would be highly valuable for time sensitive charts and data tables - chasing AR, etc.
Hi everyone! To give you an update here, we’ve begun work on this feature!
The first step will be bringing icon sets as a conditional formatting option. You’ll be able to set rules and icons, very similar to what you can do in Excel today. We want to get this out to you quickly, so it’ll be available in table and matrix visuals only to begin with.
Based on the comments on this thread, we’re focusing on the indicators first and looking for feedback on how soon after we need to follow with model-based KPIs. Please keep letting us know in the comments if you need model support for this too!
Thanks for your patience and for engaging and voting!
As many others have mentioned, date comparison conditional formatting is a huge value, with numerous applications. Please add.
As numerous others have mentioned - based on date comparisons is highly valuable.
Checking with Will Thompson and moving status to backlog
What happened to comment shortcuts? Ctrl + / or Alt + Shit+ A used to allow for commenting large sections of code.
I would even suggest allowing for a globally accessible Roles database across all new PBIX reports that we create, making it easy to simply click on previously created roles to apply them.
