Thank you for the feedback! We are now working on a way to persist your last state on report pages. This will essentially remember all your filter and slicer states, so you don’t have to re-select everything once you navigate away or refresh the page. For our first rev of this feature (targeted release Q4 CY 2017), it will only be available on report pages. We will plan on support live tiles in the future.

It is necessary the possibility of saving at dashboard level, not only report pages. For example if on a dashboard we present a story that contains several reports with monthly filters, the next month, it is necessary to redo the whole dashboard with the new filters, that without mentioning that you have to send again all the reports from the PowerBi Desktop with the new filters

The relative date slicer (a Preview feature as of June ‘17) gets us close to this with the ’This Month’ or ‘This Year’ settings. That is a dynamic date selection that updates based on the current system date. We plan to add a ‘YTD’/‘MTD’ option to specifically select a range from the start of the month/year up to today, hopefully that’ll address the remaining requirements!

Another update on this item – users now have the ability to set up scheduled subscriptions with paginated reports and 6 different formats, along with parameters per subscription to allow further personalization. There is also now the ability to create paginated reports against any Power BI dataset in the service, and we’re planning to add drillthrough from Power BI to Paginated Reports in the short term.

We still have plans to support e-mail attachments for Power BI reports as well in the coming months, and we’ll share more specifics once we get closer to starting that work.
