No app developer ever would purposely design an app that required the mobile user to click once to activate an item, then click a second time to actually interact with the item. This is completely unheard of. It's obvious that this interaction was not a design decision, but a bug. However, Microsoft famously likes to call a bug a "feature" to save face. This is one of those times.

Now, the way that Microsoft fixed this bug was to add a setting to their app for the user. This bug needs to be fixed on the report level. Had they fixed this bug on the report level instead of on the app level, this would have fixed it for all users. Now we have to beg a plead to get Microsoft to finishing fixing the bug we all reported.

There are longer term plans to allow larger exports in that use case, but there isn’t a current timeline as to when that will be available. Customers who have Power BI Premium can set a drill-through to paginated reports via URL parameters as a workaround in the interim, as there is no data export limit for paginated reports.

    There should be no limit.

I second this so much! I absolutely hate the new hidden icon. The classic open/shut eye icon system that Power BI had before was great and has worked well in many other applications/games. This new hidden icon that shows an open eye with a little tiny nearly unnoticeable blip at the bottom right is stupid.

On this note, you should also change the hidden tabs back to being greyed out instead of having this stupid icon.

At the moment we don’t have any plans to implement this. It sounds like it’s mostly useful for learning/training? If there are other ‘production’ scenarios that you think it’d be useful, where a regular table/matrix wouldn’t work, please let us know in the comments!

Multiple y-axis for Cartesian charts is on our backlog. I don’t have a timeline to share, but please keep voting. I’ll update the idea once we have more information to share.

From the comments and scenarios everyone’s describing, the problem is really that you need a way to allow end-users to change which measure is displayed in a visual on the fly.

As a few folks have mentioned, the FORMAT function might help in the interim, as long as you’re showing the results in text rather than a chart. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/format-function-dax has details on how to use that.

The expression-based formatting feature that we’ve started work on may help to a certain extent, but that’s really designed to change a visual’s properties rather than the data type or format. We’ll look into extending that work to support this scenario as well.

We’re moving this to Backlog status – our core plan is to build ways that end-users can change the dimensions or measures that are visible in a chart on the fly. They’ll be able to explore much more freely rather than…
