We also are planning on adding a feature that will let you format your text based on comparisons. I’ll update this idea based on our progress on that feature.Tom Hawthorn commented
Imagine a matrix with rows representing some list of systems, and a column which displays pass/fail or perhaps operational/non-operational. I want to show good rows as green, bad rows as red. One simple way to do this would be to allow conditional formatting for a cell on any value in the row, even values that aren't displayed. I could create a calculated column which is a number like zero or one. Then I could format "pass" as green if the hidden value is 1, or red for 0.

The typical workflow for multi-select should also include group/ungroup of multiple objects.
