It would be nice to get an update on the status of this. Hierarchy slicer is basic functionality that we have in other Microsoft tools like Excel, Access, SSRS, PerformancePoint, etc. We would like a reliable hierarchy slicer that performs well that is out-of-the-box. Have run into issues with the custom visual with regards to reliability and performance. Thanks.

I would like to add on to this. Having more granular level of control along with being able to disable would be great. Right now the options are 15min, 30min, hourly, daily, or weekly. We have no ability to try and stagger and specify the time of day for these either, so if we have say 5 models it is possible that all of the refreshes could occur after all of the processing is over which would not be great on managing memory on our Azure Analysis Services. We are seeing well over 300 queries being sent for just 9 users that accessed a single report that has a lot of visuals on the report. The caching doesn't seem to work as expected like with SSRS because even after this we see queries being sent to the model when the reports are accessed.

If we could simply incorporate the Forced Selection option like the Chiclet Slicer has that would be wonderful.

We’re looking into this request, thanks for everyone’s votes and comments.
It looks like many of the requests will be addressed by the new ‘Sticky filters’ capability. Now when you log out of Power BI and come back to a report, the same items will be selected as when you left.
For those who’re looking to have a ‘last month’ selection, the relative date slicer might help.
Those with comments about currencies where having multiple selected makes the report meaningless – the report will load with whatever selection the author saved, so if you save it with one currency selected your users will see that by default.
If there are scenarios that these features don’t address, please let us know in your comments – if you are really specific it’ll help us build the feature to work just the way you want!
Thanks again!

Any progress or updates on this, I simply can't believe there is no translation support or ability to change the local identifier for live connections to leverage translations in our Analysis Services Tabular models either on-prem or in Azure. How can this not be a priority?Am I just missing something?

Thanks for the renewed interest, everyone! This is certainly something we would like to get to in the future, it’s down to a case of prioritization and working through some implementation details. Keep voting to help move it up our list!

Card visuals need more attention, still not what we had with Power View

It would also be nice to include an optional hyperlink with buttons. If we could get a hyperlink option on Images that would be great as well;)
