A practical application for this would be to be able to leave Go To Next Level of Hierarchy and turn off Expand All down one level. Often, seeing the data in hierarchy is not really whats intended in a visual and leaving the option available just confuses the end user.

Conditional formatting should work like in Excel where the user can designate a measure that is used as the condition for any column in the table / matrix. There could be a toggle to apply to entire row or specific columns

We just released an update to our custom tooltips experience. With the new aggregation types for string and dates, you can now start to use these data types more effectively in your tooltips. This builds on top of our existing tooltip experience: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-custom-tooltips/

We are planning more improvements to tooltips in the future as well, including the much asked for discard default fields option, so stay tuned!

The suggested functionality would make a huge impact on the ability to provide important information to the user in a way they can understand it. Some visualizations have fields that often don't even lend themselves to being useful to read in a tool tip.

Would truly add some flexible functionality. I have a matrix that has multiple measures that are inter-related (QTY, Unit Rate, Hours, Unit Price, etc. Putting them all on a matrix at the same time is confusing for the end user. Adding a slicer to select the measures that the user wants to see makes for a valuable analytic. Using Switch is the only current option. However, a better option would be to just build the functionality into the matrix and slicer essentially building a field filter.

This would be a really useful feature to have especially for certain visualizations like the Bubble Chart where you could have the Color Saturation and the Size be essentially the same value only one is the absolute value and the other is the positive or negative value.
