Avi, great idea. I posted the following before I saw that it was a very similar suggestion...

Measures that reference and depend on other measures can be difficult to trace and debug. To make this easier, provide the option in the field list to show the measures that are referenced by other measures. This should be optional and performed individually for each measure to avoid unnecessary performance overhead. Here's a conceptual mockup:measure dependency (on my blog here: sqlserverbi.blog/2019/08/06/power-bi-product-suggestion-show-measure-dependencies/ )

Formatting depends on the data type.
The default for Decimal type should be culture-specific thousand separator with two decimals
The default for Whole Number should be culture-specific thousand separator with no decimals

We need to be able to support a true solution integration & build process. Consider an IT shop using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS & dev projects in VSTS. Power BI must integrate with that process. Having the ability to separate datasets from reports would be a good first step. I also suggest using different file extensions to enforce that separation.

I am finding this need in most new projects. My current use case is that we have tables with an effective date range (dimension tables using type 2 SCD). "Show me the customer information as of March 13 2019". I create a bridge table with every date within the SCD valid date range and the dimension key. This bridge table is then related to an "Effective Date" table bound to the slicer that should default to today's date. The user should be able to use the slider to select only one date. It would also be helpful to remove the date boxes and show only the slider. This would be a simple addition.

another idea: If a visual isn't selected, change text size for all visuals on the page.

After posting this, an example surfaced in a project I'm working on. In the expression editor, I entered: "=CINT(Fields!Week_of_Year.Value)" and then at some point, the editor has replaced my expression with: "=Microsoft.ReportingServices.RdlObjectModel.ExpressionParser.VBFunctions.CINT(Fields!Week_of_Year.Value)". If this were a more complex expression with embedded functions, it would be unreadable. If the simple form for the expression is acceptable, please don't modify my code. When this happens to new users and students in a class, it really freaks them out.
