Yay!!! Great news! And it only took over 4 years and 4,900+ votes! :)

Having such visual built-in will definitely be a plus hill help all of us who yearn for PerformancePoint feature to let it go. This is a MUST have.

I think this is an extremely important feature which at the moment is only available through PerformancePoint at the MSFT BI offering.

We have been neglecting PerformancePoint due to its on-premise (and likelihood of soon to-become legacy) and it would be great to see this going to Power BI / View. I am hoping that this will not be a cloud-only offering and that we will see this pushed back to on-premise as well.

That is great news, Amanda. Thanks for that! Yeah it would be great if in the future we could upload custom Open Type Fonts -- but in the meantime the support for some of the most common built-in fonts is fantastic.

You guys are really coming along. Well done all!

    Pedro Innecco commented  ·

    Please allow the following:

    * Select font (arial, verdana, etc)
    * Select formats: Bold, italic, underline, subscript, superscript, strikeout.

Also please ensure that we can change parts of the text. For example we might want parts of a text to be in red and other parts to be in blue, or only one part of the text to be in bold.

This is very important. SEE: https://imgur.com/a/ePgcY

When embedding a Power BI report in a bespoke application, we should be able to specify the background colour of the object being embedded. I am not talking about the background colour of a report page, but the colour around the page, which at the moment is set to #EAEAEA.

While sometimes we might be able to get rid of this background by resizing the object, it gets more complicated when we want the object to be responsive to different resolutions -- particularly with the height if we have additional objects under it.

I have to agree with this. While the OPTION to have all O365 groups unified across Yammer, Planner, Teams, SharePoint and other applications is a great feature, sometimes we JUST want to create something isolated for ONE or a few applications.

The current experience is extremely poor. We log-in into Power BI and see all sorts of stuff that has nothing to do with our scope in Power BI. In fact a user might delete a workspace in Power BI not knowingly that is in fact the same as deleting the O365 group.

Ideally the O365 team (not the Power BI team) should have an advanced setting for each O365 group in which we can switch in which applications the group will be available.

OR AT THE VERY LEAST, the Power BI group should give us the option to add existing groups as workspaces or not, like the Anonymous user below said on September 06, 2017 21:40.

In my view, if Power BI allow for slicers to go across pages of a report, I could create the first page of my report to be a "parameters" page, where users would select the firsts that would go across the entire report-viewing session: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/9861216-allows-slicers-to-apply-to-all-pages-of-a-report

For instance the first page of the report could have slicers for users to select the period (year, month, etc) customers, country/region, etc. Then since the slicers would go across the entire report, the other pages would show the data based on those "parameter slicers".

    Pedro Innecco commented  ·

    Agreed!

While the addition of parameters in queries is quite nice, it has no value for those of us using DirectQuery to on-prem datasources such as SSAS servers.

What my users want to see is parameters for opening reports based on SSAS tabular models.

Seems like someone forgot how the foreach loop works :)

    Pedro Innecco commented  ·

This has been added to May 2016 update, but I noticed that it does not work if we have multiple items selected.
