I can't believe more people haven't voted for this. We need to be able to combine employee data - for business unit, location, job role, etc. to analyze adoption across our large organization. So, I am manually extracting Excel usage data and importing it in Power BI to enable combining it with employee data.

This is a necessity. We have large data sets and I cannot believe the selected values do not bubble to the top of the list. Qlikview does this so well. The selections are highlighted in green, and go to the top of the list. The white values are not selected and gray means they are not in the current view of the data. It is super user-friendly.

What does this mean? "The only supported case (for now) is when custom viz slicer is using one data field. it is a limitation and we are working on it."

Really need this for the Attribute slicer too - the brush select feature of this slicer, combined with syncing across pages will make the usage so much easier for our team.

This is important. I can color code performance by month, but then the subtotals are not. This is going to make me look goofy to execs. They won't understand why I applied the conditional formatting by month and then left YTD white. I even want to use the same rule on the YTD as the monthly data.

I'd like to be able to use this for % sales to plan. That is, if our YTD performance is >= 100%, then show green. If it's >= 95% and <100%, then show yellow. If <95%, then show red. This is a really common use case and I'm struggling to simply show % to plan, with color coding. This should be simple. Thanks!

This would be really helpful, especially for slicers. For example, I often use the same time slicers across the top of my report. It takes a lot of time to format, size and align them; so, it'd be super awesome to be able to copy from one pbix file to another.

We have reports in multiple workspaces, similar to this: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/How-to-share-content-from-multiple-workspaces/td-p/333282 and need to create a summary app for managers similar to that explained in the link. It makes sense to have the separate workspaces, and it does not make sense to have to copy all the reports into one workspace and have to maintain duplicate copies of one report. Right now, given the 1:1 restriction on workspaces to apps, my teammates want me to move everything into one workspace. I'm very concerned about problems and confusion arising from having to move so many reports, some of which are shared with over 100 people. This will be time consuming and prone to errors to have to reshare all the reports with everyone. In addition, we will only be able to have one app for this entire workspace. So now we'll have to determine how to make this work for everyone who needs access to these reports. From what I've read, the content packs mentioned in the above link, are an "older" method. Is Microsoft working on a way to create an app or dashboard from multiple workspaces that will allow users to click into the reports stored in their respective workspaces? We're a large company with users around the globe, so it would help us a lot to be able to do this. Thanks!

You may want to combine this idea, with this one: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/33034543-show-hide-visualizations-based-on-slicer-value because they seem to be the same.

This would be REALLY helpful in situations where people have a large dataset and Power BI bogs down and fails to load until somebody has made a slicer selection. For example, we have a huge dataset and users of this particular Power BI tool always filter down to either a small customer base or a small contract set; however, whenever the tab in the report first loads, it cannot handle loading a detail table that contains everything. I'd like to be able to show "Please select contracts or customers" and then populate the visual with all the details.
