In addition to Report Level Filters on the Visualization pane, this should also include the ability to manually sort or order the items on the Page Level and Visual Level Filters as well.
Also, I am not sure if we can combine votes, but I did notice that this issue is also listed in https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/33792220-allow-manual-sorting-of-report-filters-instead-of
This is the same issue as https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/13057578-allow-manual-sort-of-report-level-filters which currently has more votes. In addition to Report Level filters, this should also include the ability to manually sort Page Level and Visual Level Filters on the Visualizations pane.
In the Row Headers section, there is Alignment that with options for Left, Auto, Center or Right . This Alignment should be renamed as Horizontal Alignment. There should be a new option for a Vertical Alignment to choose Top, Middle, or Bottom. Please add. Tables look very odd when there is Word Wrap turned On and we can't align the row headers to the bottom.
Thanks for the feedback! While this isn’t (yet!) on our near term roadmap, please keep voting and giving us feedback on the idea. We definitely see the need and will update the idea when we are closer to adding this feature.
Please add to Conditional Formatting section with an Off/On option to "Apply to Total". It would be very useful to have this since we are trying to call attention to the conditional formatting.
There should be a "Column subtotal position" added to the Subtotals section to be be "Left" or "Right". This would be similar to the current treatment of Rows where it has "Row subtotal position" with an option of "Bottom" or "Top".
We’re looking into this request, thanks for everyone’s votes and comments.
It looks like many of the requests will be addressed by the new ‘Sticky filters’ capability. Now when you log out of Power BI and come back to a report, the same items will be selected as when you left.
For those who’re looking to have a ‘last month’ selection, the relative date slicer might help.
Those with comments about currencies where having multiple selected makes the report meaningless – the report will load with whatever selection the author saved, so if you save it with one currency selected your users will see that by default.
If there are scenarios that these features don’t address, please let us know in your comments – if you are really specific it’ll help us build the feature to work just the way you want!
