Quick update, as there are many of you patiently waiting for an update. We’ve started to implement this feature in the service. Look forward to rolling this out to you soon!
Thanks for the renewed interest, everyone! This is certainly something we would like to get to in the future, it’s down to a case of prioritization and working through some implementation details. Keep voting to help move it up our list!
In our customer slicer we have 300.000 customer. If I could set a filer on a country (another dimension) the sales reps would only see their customers in their country. I could do the same if I enable both-way-filtering, but i dont want to do this do to performance issue. This is a feature that exist in Qlik Sense, which our end-user is asking for.
The Power BI Mobile team is going to finish this work in their coming sprints
Hey everyone! I’m updating this suggestion to “backlog” to better indicate it’s current state. We really want to do this and it’s definitely on our backlog to do. However, we aren’t currently planning or working on it, as our focus right now is on a couple of other “bigger” investments, such as printing to PDF in Desktop and expand and collapse on matrix row headers. I will update the suggestion again when we start planning the feature, and in meantime, please do keep voting and commenting. Thanks again for your patience and feedback!
We are considering this for a future release of Power BI Desktop. Keep voting and we’ll update this item as we make progress.
Can you send me email so i can connect w/ you w the team?
I would also like this idea to work when connecting to live to tabular models. So it is possible to connect to multiple ssas in one desktop file in the same way as with excel.
As this is a common feedback we are exploring the best solution to answer this need.
Thanks you for your suggestion. We’re considering to add support for Paginated report in Power BI mobile apps. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about your requirements. Please keep voting to raise this item’s priority.
Hey all – we’re looking into how best to tackle this and other filter/slicer-related functionality.
If you have a few moments, please take the following survey to share your thoughts. The survey takes ~10 minutes to complete, and will help ensure that what we’re building meets your needs. We appreciate your feedback!
Yes, this would be great.
Example: I have 5 sales people in my top 5.
Two of people have a sales qty of 88 (the rest below 88). One of these best performing sales people, one have a gross margin 88 %, where as the other has 28 %.
However, then I sort by Sales Qty the person with gross margin of 28 % is put on the first row - because this name startes D, where as the other starts with J.
I would like to press sort on gross Margin-column. There after press sort by sales qty. Thereby the J-person with 88 % will be in top.
As we cannot edit the size we need to use sqlbi's "Card with states by OKViz"
Thank you all for the feedback since our last update. We’re working on building a new navigation experience to allow authors to customize a folder-like structure for all the contents within Power BI Apps. Stay tuned!
