Hi everyone. This is something we’d like to get to in the future but don’t have any plans for at the moment.
Never mind text fields, a simple numeric input field would absolutely amazing... Where the report user can pick whatever cut-off or value they want....
I've been doing all these work arounds by defining different value ranges then putting them in different slicers... Which is my attempt to predict what different cutoffs or values the user would likely pick...
Adding this ability would enhance the effectiveness of the "what if" scenario analysis/data exploratory tool that can be done in Power BI Reports
1500 points is too small a sample size ... I understand the rationale for putting in a max. # , as some users would want to plot millions of points ... but that 1500 cap is too restrictive... Maybe somewhere in the 25-50k points range would satisfy most users?
I'm not sure if this inline with what I'm thinking - but having the ability to pass slicer parameters between Tabs would be a really cool feature.... As that would essentially expand the canvass size and make each Report Tab talk to each other while showing different themes/attributes..
This would push the usefulness of the ArcGIS Maps for Power BI to the next level in terms of adding relevant reference maps... Searching within only public maps in ArcGIS Online is impractical and rarely coincides with real business needs.... Businesses have their own layer that they want to use
This would help me greatly, and is how we use Mekko graphs in our organization
