Since the initial release, we added support for table, matrix, and cards.
I’ll leave this idea open for now since there are some requests for shapes, textboxes, and buttons, but it would be helpful if people can comment on their use cases for report page tooltips on these non-visual report elements.
Please add also for shapes textboxes and buttons.
Usecase: in an infographic report I have some text, images, or custom visuals. When I hover over these objects want to be able to display detail data (another report page) about that object.
If you would be able to put a tooltip on a shape, than you can make a completely transparent object, and you can place that over anything you want.

I dont need spellchecking personally, please add option to disable. This is very annoying especially if your language is not English.

+ please add all line analytics options to other chart types like column charts
I would like stacked column charts to have not only trend lines but all analytic options like average line as well.
I often prefer stacked column charts over lines because a stacked column chart is a big button if used interactively / as a filter / slicer. The line chart only acts as a filter/slicer if you click on the line point and not the entire vertical area of the line point.
Is this really the only idea about this? 4 votes atm this will never happen :(

yes please add. i would also be able to rotate through slicer values. ie 1 page report with a slicer for different locations, and the location will change automatically over time

There are other registered ideas that are almost the same as this one. This uncontrolled idea submitting option is not efficient. I think this is a really important feature but because of the inefficient registration does not get the votes it deserves (now its fragmented).

I think that Microsoft must spend more time on these basic, fundamentals of reporting / dashboarding. I worry that too often they spend more time chasing cool, "glitzy" functionality, at the expense of the core functionality that other products have
+ the possibility to group the selected visuals so they stay together
please add. for me this would work by being able to make a selection (rectangle) + the possibility to add or remove visuals from the selection by using some key like alt.
also i would like te be able to adjust the position of the selected visuals per pixel by using the arrow keys
vote. i need an option to do the following. my slicer shows month names like feb 2019, mar 2019 etc. i want the max(month) selected automatically. alternatively "current month" would also work but i can think of reports with historical data where max(month) is needed.
agree. interesting that there is only one person that is requesting this. if there is another idea already with more votes please tell us.
