We’re working on this and you’ll see an update very soon!
Please also make sure that we can apply the alignment to the headers
Hi everyone. I’m really excited to say we’ve started work on this, we’re planning to address two common use cases for this. First, having slicers that appear on every page so you can see them as a restatement, but keeping the selected value in sync across all those pages. That way you select once and see all the slicers updated. Secondly, you asked to have the first page in a report contain all the slicers – if that’s what you’re looking for you can set up the same synchronized slicers but hide them where you don’t want them visible (see the new Selection pane launched in October!)
Thanks for your continued support of the suggestion – we’ll keep you updated when we ship the feature.
This will be a very good feature to have. At least for many of the reports I have created thus far, most users want to work with a selected date context and view all of the pages using that context. Currently I provide slicers on each page...this would make things much easier for them.
Wanted to set expectations this isn’t in our short term roadmap. 1/25/2017….This is pretty complicated due to the underlying data dependencies
How about this: make it somewhat analogous to the Copy/Paste and Copy/PasteFormats function in Excel
For example, allow for a full copy/paste when the data models match.
If the data models don't match, allow a PasteFormats functionality to that we can quickly get all of the formatting and other settings correct...and then we can connect the data accordingly.
