There’s been a surge in requests for tax-related software analytics in the last week! I wonder why! :) Thanks for the suggestion though – who else out there is using QuickBooks desktop? Vote if you’d like to see this prioritized!
Yes, I would like to see QuickBooks Desktop accessible to Power BI.
At the moment we don’t have any plans to implement this. It sounds like it’s mostly useful for learning/training? If there are other ‘production’ scenarios that you think it’d be useful, where a regular table/matrix wouldn’t work, please let us know in the comments!
A visual that you can use with a "drop" of a table instead of a drop of a column or measure and then responds well to cross-filtering has my vote!

An outstanding idea and a big, big timesaver when evaluating consequences to modifying a measure (or assessing the need to write a new measure)!
Error and event handling for this feature will elevate it to a benefit!
Hi everyone! To give you an update here, we’ve begun work on this feature!
The first step will be bringing icon sets as a conditional formatting option. You’ll be able to set rules and icons, very similar to what you can do in Excel today. We want to get this out to you quickly, so it’ll be available in table and matrix visuals only to begin with.
Based on the comments on this thread, we’re focusing on the indicators first and looking for feedback on how soon after we need to follow with model-based KPIs. Please keep letting us know in the comments if you need model support for this too!
Thanks for your patience and for engaging and voting!
I like it! Better conditional formatting tools, better communication through reports!
This will make a lengthy administrative task achievable in practically a snap!
