We are planning to do this for data that is stored in the cloud. What models were you particularly interested in?
We currently need a second machine to be logged in as a market specific user to test reports. We build very general reports and let role level security built into our data model a lot of filtering but have no good way to view/test reports as a user.
We’re working on this one! We’re aware of it and really see it as a bug rather than a new feature. Please stay tuned and you’ll see it in a future release. Thanks!
It would also be helpful to have sort capability in the waterfall chart. We use this a lot in YOY reports but always bucket the smallest dimensions (usually 25%) into one bucket and would prefer for that to come last not tucked in the middle of the chart alphabetically
Like a template, I like this. I imagine it can be done a number of ways but basically enabling a connection template instead of going through the connections each time.
I agree, like an KPI as to how close you are. Within 60% of target have it red, within 20% of target be yellow, and switch to green when you are within 5% of target.
Similarly I just want to show which date is filtered to, so users know how recent the data is but it continually wants to aggregate to a count of months and not show the current filtered to month
Thank you all for the feedback since our last update. We’re working on building a new navigation experience to allow authors to customize a folder-like structure for all the contents within Power BI Apps. Stay tuned!
