Power Bi service has several methods of tracking report usage. But they all depending having Admin access and a buttload of configuration. And as far as I've seen, no provide the data ins such a manner than you can query it, run analysis, etc.

Duplicate Date Time functions and use DATE arguments.
While I am new to PBI, I haven't found a convenient way to convert a datetime to a date.
Suggestion: Take the entire list of date time functions and duplicate them changing the argument types to DATE and of course modify the function as required.
