Changing a published model from direct query to in memory didnt change the adminb gui
Hi, I have published a power bi model which was a direct query mode. I created report on top of it. Now I change the model from direct query to in memory and publish it again. the model is working fine,. but... I cant setup the gateway connection and the refresh schedules. the web interface still think its a direct query model and didnt change the GUI to an in memory one. I dont want to drop all my reports and my model, so how can we change a model without impacting the other existing stuff connected to it?

images not displaying in Publish to Web URLs.
When I am trying to publish a report to web from Power BI Service using the Publish to Web option under File menu, the URL generated is not displaying any images. The images are displayed ok on the report itself in Power BI Service.

Power BI
URL query string parameter - where text contains
Love the URL query string parameter feature, but can it be used to function like a textFilter visulazation where we filter on rows where the field CONTAINS the URL parameter rather than equals it? URL query string parameter: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-url-filters

Publish dashboard to web
It would be very helpful if we could publish an entire dashboard to the web instead of just individual reports.

Traffic measurement for "publish-to-web' websites
Once we publish a report to the web 'using Publish to Web', we cannot track the basic web traffic measures (visits, duration on site etc). The Audit log works well for internal users but it's important to track external views of our reports (e.g. Public Earnings traffic volume, customer interest in our published news articles etc.)
Here's an example where we're using PBI for an elite MATH audience that only PBI can achieve
www.tsp-circus.com
Per our PBI user forum, here's the response I got from the team:
"Except audit log , I can't think of other solution. Usage metrics don't track dashboards and reports embedded via the “user owns credentials” or “app owns credentials” flow. Usage metrics also don't track usage of reports embedded via publish to web."
If this idea is accepted and resolved, I think you'll see very wide adoption of web development using this powerful PBI platform.

arcGIS publish to web
The ArcGIS map has an advantage over the other maps in that it accepts names of institutions instead of needing postcodes or latitude/ longitude. However it is not currently publishable to the web which means we are unable to use Power BI and need to look for an alternative. I understand that ArcGIS maps are supported on browsers, https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/reference/what-is-web-map.htm. Hence can we please look to have the publish to web feature enabled for ArcGIS maps? Thank you.

Power BI
private publish to web
Make the publish to web feature available to be used for private sites so that confidential information can also be shown. And please make the authentication method as flexible as possible

Today I’m very excited to announce the availability of the Power BI report web part for SharePoint Online! We’ve heard from you that you wanted an easy way to securely share Power BI reports in internal sites, enforce security permission, including data security. We’ve been busy at work with the SharePoint team building an out-of-the-box web part for SharePoint Online using their new Modern Pages infrastructure. The new web part we are releasing today enables SharePoint authors to embed Power BI reports directly in SharePoint Online pages with no code required! The feature is available today for Office 365 First Release customers. Truely, this is the 'private' publish to web. You can read more about it on the Power BI Blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/integrate-power-bi-reports-in-sharepoint-online/ I know from reading many of the comments below that there are other cases in which people want to embed in external portals that enforce authentication, or on billboards that update data frequently. We have a great solution you can build on in Power BI Embedded, an Azure service you can use to build these kinds of experiences. You can read about it here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/power-bi-embedded/ We really appreciate all the feedback and ideas. Please tell us what else you'd like to see us add to Power BI. -Lukasz
