Matrix sorting
Allow the matrix to be sorted by values but keep stepped row headers not being sorted. For example when you create matrix with product categories and years in the rows. If you sort the whole matrix by sales value years also get sorted which in some cases can cause inconsistency.

Sort matrix by Parameter field
I really like the ability to use Parameter fields in my matrix visuals, but it would be even better if I was able to sort the matrix based on the (first) field I select in my parameter fileld value. Different kind of Bar charts will automatically sort by the first parameter filed selected, so here it works "per default"

Sort Column headers in Matrix
Functionality: Sorting any column header in a matrix by clicking on it.
Example: I have a matrix with Companies as Rows, Sales measure as Value and as columns I want to see the month names.
For this scenario I would like to be able to easily click on a month name and sort the content of the measure that is in the values field.
If there are more than one measure in the values field i would like to be able to click on the value itself and it should sort.
I get requests by customers at a regular basis, asking for this specific functionality.

Matrix sort on column headers
currently we can not sort matrix data on column basis. Is this possible to do similar excel like column sorting in Power BI?

Sort by individual column values in a matrix
If I create say matrix with employees on rows and months on columns with expenses in values, I currently cannot sort by a particular month to see who were the top spenders in that month. I can only sort the totals. Excel allows sorting on individual column values. Need similar functionality in the matrix as well.

Sort matrix columns by a value not part of a matrix
I have an Outlet Buying Matrix It includes columns of Account and Months. Initially, I can only arrange alphabetically of Account. Please make that I can arrange by Sales. But Sales data is not part of the matrix, it's like it will sort using that.

Matrix Reverse Sort and Total on Left
I think it would be extremely useful for many organizations that focus on totals as well as most recent values to reverse the sort of the matrix where Newest is on the left as well as having the totals column on the left. I understand you can work around the sort order by adding columns and changing the sort by, but it should be a feature built in to the application. And currently there is no work around to get the totals on the left, leaving anyone who needs a high level analysis forced to either make cards and use space, or slide the bar on the matrix to the right to view totals.

Manual sorting in matrix visuals
It would be very helpful if columns / lines in a matrix visual could be sorted manually. A drag and drop similar to the one in an Excel pivot would be great.

Sort on multiple column in Matrix visual
We need sort option enable for multiple columns and not just in Total column in Matrix Visual. This helps many of the PowerbI users to fully utilize the power of matrix visual. In Table visual where we have this option, but doesnt suppor two row headers. Many organisation would like to see their data categorized into some buckets and have them subcategorized. this categories and subcategories cannot be provided in Table visual. So Matrix visual does provide this two row headers but the option to allow users to sort by max or min value is missing. This small option missing ruined my entire plan of having a nonStepped matrix view.

Custom Sort/Order Table or Matrix
Why is it so complicated to custom sort or order a column in power bi table or matrix? This is an extremely simple and basic requirement for any BI dashboard and it shouldn't be such a hassle to create Indices every time to sort. It doesn't seem practical to create indices for 10 columns each time I need to sort.
