    legend color in conditional formatting

when you have a graph to which you can apply a conditional format the legend stays with the default color, the legend should be put with the colors of the mixed conditional format

    automatic legend for conditional formatting

I am missing the option within conditional formatting to automatically create a color legend. The workaround so far is to screenshot the color legend within the conditional format settings, then cut it within another program like Word or Paint and then insert it as a picture + I have to insert a text as well. An automatic legend option could save us heaps of time

    Conditional formatting for legend colors

Today, to adjust a the colors corresponding to the LEGEND values, we are obliged to do it manually --> it would be great to be able to apply conditional formatting as we have for the colors corresponding to the AXIS values

Conditional Formatting Rules Legend in Published Report

There needs to be a way to display the conditional formatting rules applied to values in a visual from a report viewer's perspective. It's easy to see the rules in desktop when configuring the conditional formatting but once the report is published there's no way to see why a value is conditionally formatted a certain way. There needs to be a way to display the conditional formatting rules in either a legend or a tooltip once the report is published. Conditional formatting is extremely valuable but lacking a feature to easily display the rules in a published version makes it much less intuitive to understand from a report viewer perspective.

Data colors Conditional formatting for Charts with Legend split

We are missing the Data colors Conditional formatting based on Field value, when a Legend split is used. Example Report: CO2 emissions by Country by Year Requirement: the Color to stick to the Country, since it visually associates the user with the content. Data colors Conditional formatting for now provides this only when the Country is plotted on the axis as stand alone. Chart Type: Stacked Column X axis: Years with Legend split by Country Y axis, Value: CO2 emissions Data Points: [ {"Country":"US", "Color":"#B22234", "Year":2017, "CO2":100}, {"Country":"US", "Color":"#B22234", "Year":2018, "CO2":102}, {"Country":"US", "Color":"#B22234", "Year":2019, "CO2":105}, {"Country":"UK", "Color":"#00247d", "Year":2017, "CO2":30}, {"Country":"UK", "Color":"#00247d", "Year":2018, "CO2":32}, {"Country":"UK", "Color":"#00247d", "Year":2019, "CO2":35}, {"Country":"China", "Color":"#DE2910", "Year":2017, "CO2":130}, {"Country":"China", "Color":"#DE2910", "Year":2018, "CO2":132}, {"Country":"China", "Color":"#DE2910", "Year":2019, "CO2":135}, ] Using the with Country split in Legend disables the Data colors Conditional formatting.

Conditional Formatting in Clustered Col Chart with Legends/multiple category

Whenever we have multiple categories or whenever we use legends in these charts we cant see conditional formatting option. When we remove legends, in single category we can see the conditional formatting option. Power BI should add this feature in next update.

Data Colour Fx / Conditional Formatting with Multiple Values or Legend

Within Power BI, when you wish to use conditional formatting on the data colours of a bar chart or similar, the Fx (conditional formatting / formula button) disappears when more than one field / value / legend item is used. This would be really useful for highlighting with conditional formatting whilst also comparing to time series.

    Custom Tooltips for Conditional Formatting

When a cell has conditional formatting applied, the consumer is often left wondering what it means. For instance, an exclamation point icon next to a value gets the consumers attention, but they need a legend or prior instruction of some kind to interpret the exact meaning. Except for mobile users, hovering the cursor over the icon (or colored text, etc.) and having a custom tooltip appear would be an elegant solution. The current tooltip feature could remain as is but would be overridden when the conditional formatting in the cell was active.

    Conditional color formatting on slicer

Applying conditional color formatting on slicer. This would really make it much easier to understand and navigate in data. In this way legends in the connected graphs are also becoming redundant. See example here: https://twitter.com/Tinekuhnel/status/1371823290906447880

    Conditional Formatting on composite graphs

    Hi,

I would love to be able to do conditional formatting on graphs with multiple levels (for example with legends applied).

    And with related fields.

Say if a graph is showing various "Products" produced, but I want the related column "Department" to decide wich colour each product will have.

I would also love to have a filter for a related field decide and switch between colours on a different graph.

Say we have the "Products" graph again, but all departments produce the same products. I want the products graph to switch to the corresponding colour when I filter the data for each department.
