Date formatting in date slicer
The improved date slicer is great. However, when using it in Between/Before/After mode, I want the dates to be displayed in the same way as in List/Dropdown mode. (That is, the way I've formatted them in my Power BI data model.) For example, we format all of our dates like '2017-03-31'. But in Between/Before/After mode, the date slicer always displays dates like '3/31/2017'.

Date Slicer for "Between"
It would be great if we could format the shape and size of the slider handles in the "between" date slicer.

MM/YYYY or YYYY/MM format for 'between' slicer
'Between' slicer is using only one date format. Options for more formats would be nice.

Format of Date in Date Range Slicer
Dear Team,
I hope this email finds you all in good health and spirits.
I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue related to date range slicers in Microsoft Power BI. Whenever I create a date range slicer in Power BI Desktop, it formats correctly to my desired settings. However, upon publishing it to Microsoft Power BI Server and accessing it through the public embedded link, the date format changes to mm/dd/yyyy, which is not the intended format.
Ideally, I expect the date range to be displayed consistently in dd/mm/yyyy format across both Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Microsoft Power BI Service.
To address this problem, I have made several attempts to resolve it by adjusting the regional locale setting in Power BI Desktop, disabling the automatic time intelligence feature in the preview features, and even modifying my browser's language settings. Unfortunately, all these efforts have been unsuccessful.
This issue is causing significant disruptions to my project, and I kindly request your assistance in investigating and resolving this matter as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
Best regards,

Customisation to Between Slicer
Ability to make the between date slicer adopt the column format of the date column rather than defaulting to dd/mm/yyyy.
An option to click 'today' on calendar pop ups to select today's date value.

Set a Default Date on Date Slicer which uses Between Slicer Style
Currently default date slicers in Power BI does not support to set a default date/time on a report page while enabling user to select any date range on the slicer, for example if you want to use the Between Slicer Style with a date and set the default date to yesterday, so that when ever the dashboard is opened it will show data for yesterday's date while users are able to select any date range through the slicer. However, this is not possible as of now.
This is a mandatory requirement and better to include as soon as possible.
Note: Tableau has a greater flexibility on date filters and wish if we have the same in Power BI

Date Slicers with Between option not updating values when other slicers are filtered
My date slider slicer populates correctly when I use the "Between" option. The oldest and newest dates populate the two boxes based on the data. However, when I use a different slicer (e.g. Geography) to filter the records, the date slider slicer doesn't update the oldest and newest dates that are displayed in the two date boxes. When this same slicer is set to List or Dropdown, the dates DO filter. It is NOT filtering when the slicer option is set to "Between".

Formatting Slicers
It would be useful if i can format the colour of the chevrons on the slicer.
I am using a slicer with two fields - month and date.
I have a background colour for the slicer which is a corporate colour and cannot be changed.
I can amend the colour of the values to white so they can be seen easily but not the colour of the chevrons which remain grey and are very difficult to see against the background
