Save Datamart SQL queries as tables/views to use in the dataset
Are there any plans on being able to save created Datamart SQL queries from pulled data as tables/views? This would be an awesome feature to include within Power BI Datamart. This would give developers access to do the initial pull with power query and do basic transformations, and then give the developers the option to create complex SQL queries from the data pulled which would be accessible within the Datamart and dataset.

Datamart: Allow saving of datamart query without loading data
I am trying to load a query to setup incremental refresh in the datamart. The query will fail without the incremental refresh settings in place as it will time out. Right now I am having to set an arbitrary filter to get the data to load and then setup incremental refresh. If I could save the query, then setup incremental refresh and then load, then I would have the proper filters on my data to allow it to successfully load through the range start and end parameters incremental refresh puts on the data.
In Dataflows, I can save my dataflow and choose not to load until I setup incremental refresh. If this could be replicated that would be fantastic!

This scenario will be possible with Dataflows Gen 2

Dynamic Datamart RLS (with DAX and measures)
In a dataset developers can define dynamic RLS rules, using DAX formulas and measures.
This is not yet possible with a Datamart. Meaning I cannot migrate any of my datasets due to the fact there's no way how to secure data based on the current user who's utilizing the app.
Hope you can put this idea in your pipeline. I think it is a fundamental feature.

Add ability to manage access to Datamart SQL Connection String
Currently, you can't grant someone access to the Datamart and restrict the access to the connection string. I don't want my users with Datamart access to have the ability to connect and download all data.
We want to give users access to our Datamart so they can add their own data, create a data model, measures and reports in the browser. We want to prevent them from direct access to our data. Currently, Power BI doesn't offer a solutions to this issue. If I give a user access to build reports with Direct Query in Desktop, they can still export all data with a third party tool like Dax Studio.

Add 'view native SQL query' to Visual Query in Datamart
The visual query in Datamart is great to start building a query visually.
The next steps I imagine are:
- use that query in Power BI -> can we add this possibility ?
- look at the native SQL of the query, then customize it even further using the SQL editor
Are these 2 functionalities already planned?
thank you for the great work on Power BI and the exciting Datamart

Let datamart be used as linked server in SQL databases
To use datamarts as central data repositories it would be great if they could be integrated as linked servers in SQL-databases (sp_addlinkedserver (Transact-SQL) - SQL Server | Microsoft Docs)

Add Field Parameters in Power BI datamarts
Need for field parameter in Power BI Datamart
Power BI Datamart is a great tool to prepare data. But there is no New Parameter - Field in the Model menu. Therefore, report consumption is not at the level of insight and easability as competitors and Power BI Desktop.

Power BI Datamarts - Integration with Power Automate
I'd like to add alerts or messaging that can be integrated with Power Automate.
I could imagine creating an alert on top of a created measure within the datamart. Then once that measure reaches a threshold then an alert can be triggered via Power Automate.

Support Single Sign On in Publish to Web Feature to Build Reports with Datamart
Currently, the Publish to Web feature does not support Single Sign On. My reports are built with Datamart, which uses Single Sign On configuration to connect to workbooks in Excel, and, therefore, I cannot Publish to Web. My request is for PowerBI to support Single Sign On so that I can build Reports using Datamart and connect to multiple data sources, and then be able to Publish to Web without my reports failing to load.

Allow Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Python to connect to Power BI datamarts
Currently, Power BI datamarts are accessible through SSMS for querying data using SQL. However, this approach limits connectivity for tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Python libraries (e.g., pyodbc) that are often used for data manipulation and automation. Enabling direct connections between these tools and Power BI datamarts would be a significant improvement. As companies increasingly move towards a data fabric (Power BI) centric approach, where end users primarily interact with Power BI datasets, this functionality becomes even more crucial.
