    Waterfall Conditional Colors (Starting Point)

With the current waterfall chart visual you can achieve almost any values you need by using SWITCH and a helper table. You can create a starting point, subtotals, and use individual measures using this method, but the limitation is that you cannot change the color of the starting point or subtotals. So close! If conditional formatting was added to sentiment colors for the Waterfall Chart visual, we would have everything we need. Example of how the SWITCH and helper table work: https://businessintelligist.com/2017/04/03/price-volume-mix-analysis-using-power-bi/

Waterfall Chart : (1) Hide and Add +/- sign from data labels (2) Provide Conditional Formatting option Data Labels

So , I was tasked to simply remove the minus sign from the non-pillar bars of the data values from the waterfall chart. But this was impossible . From what I have seen online I could have used conditional formatting with DAX to merge the minus sign with the background. But that requires the chart to have a data label conditional formatting to begin with. OR This could be simply resolved if you have an option to simply hide/disable the minus sign under the data label part of the format option.

    Conditional Formatting

It would be helpful to have an all fields option for conditional formatting. I want to highlight data in a particular row and I have to apply conditional formatting to every column. It's very time consuming and frustrating.

    Conditional Formatting

Charts need conditional formatting according to rules, because now it is taking too much time to format the charts. If it has an automation option with some rules like conditional formatting it would increase the efficiency of the software. My company was deciding to change power BI to another because its does not have this feature.

    Conditional Formatting

There should be the option to copy existing Conditional Formatting already defined in a report for use on other visuals. This would mean that a user can define conditional formatting setting all rules for a visual, then copy it for use on another wherein he only changes the field value as the case may be.

    Calculations Groups and Conditional Formatting

When using calculation groups the semantic model (or tabular model, if you use azure analysis services) will automatically change to discourage implicit measures.

When we have added calculation groups, and we try to do conditional formatting (e.g. Web URL), we cannot select any field to use for conditional formatting on, as this will create an indirect measure. Conditional formatting does not support implicit measures.

This means that if we decide to use calculation groups, we cannot use conditional formatting.

We would very much like to be able to use both.

Can we please get a fix, so it is possible to use both calculation groups and conditional formatting?

    Bulk Conditional Formatting

I have a table with 10 columns. I want to apply the same conditional formatting for all these 10 columns. Currently I have to right click and apply on each one column the conditional formatting one by one. Its very lengthy process and very easy to make a mistake. One way is the format painter to be able to apply conditional formatting from one column to another. Another way is to save conditional formatting templates/saved/recent rules that we can choose from in a drop down.

Conditional formatting for matrix and tables headers To have context dependant row & column headers background and text colors is something that would be very nice for user contextualisation

    conditional formatting

Conditional formatting is broken down by date, example: I display the next 180 days of a given value and want to display the colors differentiated by the months that are closest to x and the most distant to y, but I can't just use the amount and not the date values.
