    Formatting

Formatting reports with multiple visuals is a nightmare! If we could highlight multiple items at one time (Like in Access and Excel) so we can move them all at the same time, or change the font, color, Bold, underline etc. all at the same time would save so much time.

Visual for text with formatting options

Currently the only visual for text to be loaded from a SQL data source is the Table/Matrix visuals. Both of them lag in formatting options like bold text, bullets points. It would be very helpful to have a visual which loads data from SQL tables and has the formatting options.

In Crosstab visual, we have very limited control on the row/column totals formatting. We should have options to give different background to row subtotal and column subtotal. Also, changing font to bold, alignment ( left/right), ability to change the "Total" text which appears in the left bottom of cross tab etc. options should be considered.

    Font styles

There has been a lot of improvements around font styles (bold, Italics, underlined), but it would be nice if these styles are made even more applicable, like in a matrix and then Specific column - so far you can only change the text color or background color.

To be able to change selected item format on Bar char

We have a bar chart that is used as a slicer. When you make a selection on it, the rest of elements get greyed out and the selected one changes the font to bold. We would like to be able to apply a more customizable format on both the selected item and the rest, like, for instance, to make the font bigger, change the color,...

Include all font options in text box

I noticed some of the font options for visuals are not included in the text box font list. For example, Segoe UI Semibold is an option on the visuals I've used, but it's not listed in the text box font list - only Segoe Bold, Segoe UI, and Segoe UI Light are shown.

    Conditional Line Formatting

There is conditional formatting only for a field / column of a table or array, but it is required for all field types, with the exception of a filter. This feature is a good view of important data that should be observed as a whole and not just in a field / column. You can use font size, bold font, color font, etc.
