Dynamic M query for T-SQL based data sources.
Please also support Dynamic M query for T-SQL based data sources. This is an important feature that can improve performance. Dynamic M query parameters in Power BI Desktop (preview) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-dynamic-m-query-parameters ------------------ The feature is only supported for M based data sources. The following DirectQuery sources are not supported: T-SQL based data sources: SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Synapse SQL pools (aka Azure SQL Data Warehouse), and Synapse SQL OnDemand pools ------------------

Support of Dynamic M query Parameters for commonly used databases like SQL Databases!?!
So I was so excited about the new Dynamic M query Parameters and started using that immediately for direct queries from our SQL server. It was only after I set everything up did I notice that this feature isn't supported in standard SQL databases? It's such a shock. I mean most data usage/direct query for BI reports come from SQL servers and it doesn't support it? I logged a issue on the forum and they noted a list of data sources this feature doesn't support which seems alot more than what this feature actually supports. Could we add support for this feature for just even a sql server or SSAS database?

Dynamics Query parameters for SQL Server during runtime and dynamic parameters to be passed to report title /axis
Requesting to consider the feature of implementing
- Dynamics Query parameters for SQL Server during runtime
- Dynamic parameters to be passed to report title
- Flexibility to pass dynamic parameters to be passed to axis based on calculated conditions

Enter a SQL Query by connecting to a .sql file
Enter a SQL Query by connecting to a .sql file instead of explicitly typing the SQL. This option would allow a developer the ability to maintain their SQL code in one place (instead of in Power Query and in the .sql file). Currently, it is possible to point to a .sql file and upload, but this requires manipulation of M, and changing the privacy settings to Public. Or via the use of calling the external stored procedure xp_cmdshell which requires database permissions to be granted, and the ability to write a batch script.

More space for SQL query
I use SQL queries most of the time to get data in powerbi. however, most of the queries are a bit long and the space in powerbi is very small and not expandable. so every time I want to update my query I have to copy it to another editor just because I need a bigger space.
so my idea is to allow the user to maximize the space allocated to enter SQL queries

SQL query builder for Non-SQL Users
SQL query builder (like the old MS Query) inside Power BI that business users that do not know SQL can use when pulling data from SQL Databases.

Dataflows from Custom SQL Query
I would like to be able to create an entity based off of a custom SQL Query instead of having to use the Power Query tools. The problem I am having is that one of the tables I am working with is too large and results in a timeout when Dataflows tries to bring it in. I think that a custom SQL Query will alleviate this issue by allowing me to prefilter my data before it comes into Dataflows.

We shipped Native SQL query support. You can learn more about this feature here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-dataflows-january-updates/

DO NOT REMOVE QUERIES FROM SQL ENDPOINT
I have a lakehouse with a couple of tables and a couple of SQL queries referencing 2 tables that I later delete. After re-loading the data and recreating the same tables with the same names but not the same schema, all the SQL queries I had before the table delete are now gone. Poof! Disappeared in the ether.
Would be nice if this didn't happen and SQL queries were endowed with immortality because as you learn how to use the various Fabric services, you are bound to screw up, and redo your work, in which case there is no real need to change table names and so on. And thus you might need the same SQL queries as before, once you adjusted some table schema, for ex.

Save the SQL Query from Datamart
Today, when you make a SQL Query in the Datamart you only have the option to export in .xlsx, why we can't save this query inside the Datamart to use in the creation of reports.
I suggest to make the Query and have the option of use it like a table or save inside the datamart to turn the query useful to create a report.
