When users try to access to any POWER BI dashboard, which they don't have access to, it would be nice to custom Pop up to ask them to raise request to access it, instead of generic one.

RE: Custom "Request Access" pop up button

This is a HUGE need. We use AAD as well, and are currently auditing the request lists from Power BI to make sure we don't have users wondering what happened to their access requests. Also, when we clear the queue of request, the users are going to receive a confusing message that their access was denied so we have to do damage control there as well. Please, MSFT - make this happen.

I absolutely think this is a necessity! Either being able to:disable the pop-upor write a custom message including a URLor redirect to a different URLwould be helpful.

Absolute need this featureThis is useful for enterprise apps where AD groups are used to control access and new users need to be approved by someone within the business before being added to the AD group

Should be able to disable the feature. Allow us to modify the action when access is being requested, eg to link to redirect user to a ticketing system, any ticketing system, MS Forms, ServiceNow, anything.

RE: Custom "Request Access" pop up button

Yes please! In order to comply with company policies, we need a separate process to manage access requests to reports and apps. We use Active Directory to manage security. This imposed access request process does not offer a great user experience plus creates a huge overhead of having a parallel process for access requests. It would be fantastic to have the option to display a message when access to reports is requested, just like the option available when requesting access to datasets!

This is desperately needed...very annoying to have to continuously educate users around this.

RE: Custom "Request Access" pop up button

Allow us to modify the action when the button is selected. Instead of just an email to the workspace owner, Microsoft needs to include the option to disable the feature all together. Also, we need to ability to modify the message presented to the end user. The button (when pressed) should allow re-direct or Just open a new window to the Internal 'request access' request form. This is a problem for both the developer and the end user since both are experiencing delays. Not to mention there's no audit trail. Emails here will get deleted after 90 days. The more I play around with Power BI the more I realize that this is not Enterprise worthy solution yet. Power BI Just dropped off my top 5 list for reporting tools. Thanks,Rex
