When using the date slicer and the relative date type and the calendar year type it would be good if this included the current year's data as the rest of the feature seems very user friendly but this little snag whereby the current years data is not shown stops me from using this type of slicer.

Agree, there missing option "Include this period" for all "calendar" values. There are also another issues with relative date slicer/filter
